9	해변가기	In the background survey,  you indicated that you love going  to beaches.  Where's your favorite beach and  how often do you go there?	제주도라는 한국의 가장 아름다운 섬에 있는 작은 해변을 좋아해요.  1년에 두번 정도가는데 주로 혼자가요.  거기 진짜 좋은 게 뭐냐면, 너무 깨끗해요. 하얀 모래가 정말 깨끗하고, 바닷물을 정말 맑아요.  조용한 해변 모레사장에 누워서 바다를 보면 마음을 비울 수 있고 스트레스가 다 풀려요.  자연 스파 또는 사우나 같아요. 사람이 거의 없어서 쓰레기도 없고 그래서 해변이 깨끗 한것 같아요.  그래서 제 마음도 깨끗해지는 것 같아요.   I absolutely love this small beach on Jeju Island,  which, by the way,  happens to be Korea’s most stunning island.  I go about twice a year, usually by myself. The best thing about that place is how clean it is.  the white sand is super clean it practically sparkles,  and the water is crystal clear.  Lying on the quiet beach and looking at the sea helps me clear my mind and totally relax. It's like nature’s spa or sauna. Since there are hardly any people around, there’s no trash, which keeps the beach nice and clean. Every time I’m there, I feel like all my stress just washes away.  It’s my personal reset button—mind cleared, stress gone.  Honestly, I should go more often, but you know, life gets in the way.
10		You indicated that you like visiting beaches.  How often do you go, and  what time of the year do you typically  go?  Who do you usually go with?  What do you like to do when going to a beach?	나는 매년 여름에 2번 정도 꼭 제주도에 있는 나만의 비밀 해변에 가.  나는 보통 혼자가고. 수영은 잘 못해. 해변에 가만히 누워서 뷰를 즐겨.  거기 해변이 정말 깨끗해. 왠지 내 마음도 깨끗해지는 것 같아. 그게 내가 매년 가장 중요하게 생각하는 계획 중에 하나야.  I make it a point to visit my secret beach in Jeju island about twice every summer. That beach is super clean! I’m not great at swimming, so I usually just lie there and enjoy the view. It really feels like it cleanses my mind too. It’s definitely one of the most important plans I have every year!
11		Memorable Experience	내가 아까 말한 그 해변에서 외국인을 만났는데, 지금은 정말 친한 친구가 되었어. 돌이켜 생각해보면, 정말 신기해! 진짜 믿기지 않아! 거기 사람은 거의 없었거든— 사실 그 해변을 아는 한국인도 거의 없어서 항상 꽤 한산했어. I met a foreigner at that beach I mentioned earlier,  and now we’ve become really close friends.  Looking back, it’s really amazing!  I mean, it’s just so incredible!  You know, there were hardly any people around—I mean barely any Koreans even know about that beach— so it was always pretty empty.
12		When did you first go beach?  What made you visit there?   Give me all the details.	나는 사실 물이 너무 무서워서 바닷가를 별로 안좋아했어. 근데 20살때인가 제주도에 처음 혼자 여행을 갔었어  오토바이를 타고 해안도로를 달리는데 에메랄드 색의 맑은 바닷물이 너무 아름다운거야. 그때부터 바다를 좋아하기 시작했어. 근데 사람이 많은 곳은 안 좋아해서 사람 없는 바닷가를 엄청 찾아다녔어.  그리고 나만의 비밀 바다를 발견했지.  사람이 없어서 쓰레기도 없고, 모레도 깨끗해 물 색깔로 예뻐.  비행기로 1시간 정도인데 1년에 2번정도는 항상 거기가서 힐링하고 와. I used to be really scared of the water, so I never liked the beach much. But when I was about 20, I took my first solo trip to Jeju Island. I was riding a motorcycle along the coast, and the emerald-green water was just stunning. That’s when I started to love the ocean. but I’m not a fan of crowded places, so I looked for quiet beaches where I could escape the crowds. Then I finally found my own secret beach. Since it was empty, there was no trash, and he sand was squeaky clean, which made the water look even more beautiful It’s only about an hour by plane, so I try to go there at least twice a year to relax and recharge.
