13	카페	[묘사] In the background survey,  you indicated that you like to go to Cafes.  Tell me about one of the cafes you like Where is it located? What does it look like ?  What is special about the cafe that you  often go to ?	[한국어] 내가 주로 가는 카페는 공부하기 정말 완벽한 장소야. 거기 가면 진짜 집중이 잘 돼. 음악, 커피, 조명, 테이블마다 전기 콘센트도 있어 내가 공부할 때 필요한 모든게 있어 3층짜리 건물인데 2층이 공부하는 사람들을 위한 공간이에요.  그래서 공부하는 사람들을 보면 동기부여도 되요. 집에서 5분이면 걸어가. 그래서 공부를 해야하거나 할 일이 있을 땐 거의 그 카페를 가요.  [Eng] The café I usually go to is the perfect spot for getting work done. I can really focus when I’m there. The music, coffee, lighting—they’ve even got outlets at every table. They’ve got everything I need when I’m studying. The café is a three-story building, and the second floor is a study area exclusively for people studying. so. being around people studying really motivates me. It helps me focus better. And it’s just a 5-minute walk from my place, That’s why, Whenever I need to study or get stuff done, I pretty much always go to that café.
14		How did you first becom interested in going to cafes? Who did you go with? What made you go to cafes in the first place? Give me all the details	[한국어] 2016년도에 직장을 다니기 시작하면서, 자격증을 따야할 게 있어서 공부하러 오랜만에 카페에 갔어요. 왜냐하면 근처 도서관이 자리가 꽉 찼거든요. 그냥 집근처에서 제일 가까운데를 갔어요. 근데 집중이 너무 잘되는 거에요. 잔잔한 음악, 조명, 공부하는  사람들을 위한 전용 책상도 있고. 진짜 좋았어요.  그래서 그때부터 공부나 할 일이 있을 때는 무조건 그 카페를 가요.  [Eng] I started working in 2016, and I needed to study for a certification for work, so I went to a café for the first time in a while. Because the nearby library was full. I mean there were no seats available.  so I just picked the closest cafe near my place, but I ended up focusing so well there! They’ve got gentle classical music playing, nice lighting, and even dedicated desks for studying. It was such a nice vibe! Since then, whenever I need to study or get work done, I always go to that café.
15		[경험] Memorable Experience	[한국어] 예전에 사람 엄청나게 많은 유명한 카페에 갔었어. 카페 들어갈 때 중앙 테이블에 50달러정도 되는 돈이 있었거든. 근데 내가 2층에서 커피 마시고 2시간뒤에 내려왔는데 그게 그대로 있었어.  원래 한국 사람들은 자기꺼 아니면 안가져가는 문화가 있긴한데 그리고 이런 문화를 항상 당연하게 생각했는데 이때는 진짜 나도 이런 한국 문화가 너무 자랑스러웠어. [Eng] I once went to this really popular café that was packed with people. When I walked in, I saw about $50 on the central table. After drinking my coffee on the second floor for like two hours, I came back down, and it was still there! In Korea, people generally don’t take things if they don’t belong to them, and I always thought of it as normal. But at that moment, I felt really proud of that part of Korean culture.
16		[비교] How coffee shops changed over the last few decades.	[한국어] 사람들이 예전에는 주로 커피마시면서대화하러갔지만, 요즘은 공부를 하거나 회의실이 없을 때,카페 회의실을 이용하기도해요.  예전에는 심지어 2시간 이상 못 머물게 하는 카페들도 많았는데 요즘엔 오히려 "스터디 카페" 같은 것도 많이 생겼어요.  오히려 장려하는 곳들이 많아요.  아 그리고 키즈카페라는 것도 요새 한국에서 엄청 유명해요. 카페와 실내놀이터를 합쳐놓아서. 엄마들은 커피를 마시고 바로 옆 실내 놀이터에서 아이들은 노는 거에요.   [Eng] Back in the day, people mostly went to cafés just to hang out and chat over coffee. But now, a lot of folks go there to study or have meetings when they can’t find a meeting room. There used to be cafés that wouldn’t let you stay for more than two hours, but these days, there are tons of 'study cafés' that actually encourage you to chill and get work done. It’s a café combined with an indoor playground, so moms can enjoy their coffee while their kids play right next door It’s cool to see how things have changed!
