17	클럽	[묘사] In the background survey,  you indicated that you like to go to clubs.  너는 클럽에 얼마나 자주 가니? 누구와 같이 가니? 어떤 클럽에 가장 자주 가니? 그 클럽은 어디에 있고 어떤 특징이 있니?	[한국어] 내가 주로 가는 클럽은 외국인들이 정말 많아. 내 생각에는 핫한 미국 POP 음악이 나와서 그런것 같아. (사실 요즘은 세계적으로 유명한 Kpop도 많이 나오긴 해) 어째든 거기 가면 외국인 친구들을 쉽게 사귈 수 있어. 영어 말하기 연습을 하기 완벽한 장소야. 영어를 잘하고 싶은데 외국인 친구를 만나기 어려워 그래서 1달에 1~2번 여기 클럽 가서 외국인들과 대화를 하고, 친구를 사귀어. 한국인 직장 동료가 있는데 그 친구랑  같이 가.  거기서 그냥 외국인들이랑 대화하는 게 진짜 외국어 공부에 도움이 많이 되는 것 같아 [Eng] The club I usually go to is full of foreigners, I guess it’s because they’re playing hot new American pop songs at the club.(actually these days they also play kpop)   It really helps me to make friends! I mean it is the perfect spot to practice speaking English. I really want to get better at English, but it's hard to meet foreign friends, after graduating univ.  So I go to this club once or twice a month to talk to foreigners and make friends I have this co-worker who's trying to improve his English as well  just like me, so we go there together I really feel like even just chatting with foreigners helps a lot with learning the language, even if I can't make close friends there.
18		[경험] 클럽에서 있었던 일 중 가장 기억에 남는 일에 대해 말해줘 언제 일어난 일이니? 누구와 함께 있었니?	[한국어] 작년 가을에 클럽에서 놀고 있는데 어떤 여자가 "너 지훈이지!"하는거야 . 나는 처음보는 사람이라서 "저 아세요?,누구세요?" 했어. 알고 봤더니 내 Instagram에 한국어 공부 계정 팔로워였던거야. 처음에는 좀 당황스러웠는데. 너무 신기하고 좋았어.     [Eng] Last fall, I was at this club, and all of a sudden, a girl next to me said, 'You must be Jihoon.' I didn’t recognize her, so I was like, 'Do I know you from somewhere?' It turned out she was a follower of my Korean language Instagram account. At first, I was a bit caught off guard, but it was so cool and I loved it.
19		[비교] 예전과 요즘 클럽의 변화	[한국어] 뭐가 변해했을까? 지금 생각해보니까 예전에는 외국인들이 많이 가는 클럽, 한국인들이 많이 가는 클럽. 이렇게 좀 구분이 되었던 것 같은데.  요즘에는 어딜 가든 비슷하게 있는 것 같아. 요즘은 빌보드 차트에 한국 노래도 많이 있어서. 외국인들이 주로 갔던 클럽에 가도 한국 KPOP이 많이 나와.  아 그리고 어느 클럽을 가든 외국 술을 마실 수 있어서 이런 변화가 생긴 것 같기도 해.  [Eng] what has changed? Hmm, now that I think about it,  it used to feel like clubs were more divided— Ones where I would only see foreigners and  ones that were mostly for Koreans. These days,  it feels pretty much the same no matter where you go.  There are a lot of Korean songs on the Billboard charts now, so even in clubs where I used to see only foreigners, you can hear a lot of K-pop. Oh, and you can get foreign drinks at any club now, so that might be part of the change too.
20		[비교] 너가 가본 두 개의 클럽을 선택해서 유사점과 차이점을 말해줘. 둘 중에 어디가 더 좋니? 이유는 뭐니?	[한국어] 어떤 클럽은 그냥 춤만 추는 클럽이야. 그런데 다른 클럽은 스툴의자나 테이블이 있어서, 종종 술 마시면서 사람들이랑 대화도 할 수 있어. 그래서 나는 사실 이렇게 사람들이랑 자연스럽 대화할 수 있는 테이블이 있는 클럽을 좋아해.  나는 주로 외국인들과 영어로 대화하고 싶어서 클럽을 가거든    [Eng] Some clubs are just for dancing,  but then there are others with stools and tables  where you can chill and chat with people over drinks. I really like clubs with tables where I can just chill and have casual chat with people.  I mainly go to clubs to chat with foreigners in English.
