17	음악	[묘사] You indicated in the survey that  you like listening to music.  What types of music do you like?  Who is your favorite singer or  composer?   Why do you like him or her?	[한국어] 저는 클래식 음악을 정말 좋아해요.  그냥 마음이 편안해져요. 그리고 공부할 때 집중하는 데 도움이 돼요. 지금 생각해보니까 청소할 때나 책 읽을 때나 심지어 설거지 할 때도 클래식 음악을 꼭 틀어놔요.  제가 가장 좋아하는 음악가는 '유진 박'이라는 사람인데  그 사람 완전 팬이에요.  그 남자는 한국사람인데 미국에서 태어났고, 버클리 음대를 졸업했어요. 바이올린, 피아노, 첼로 다 칠수 있고, 심지어 지휘도 하는데 개인적으로는 바이올린 연주가 제일 멋있어요.  처음 그 분의 바이올린 연주를 들었을 때 완전 다른 세상에 온 것 같았어요. 너무 마음에 감동이 왔어요.  그래서 클래식 음악 중에서도 그분의 연주를 가장 많이 들어요.  [Eng] I really love classical music! I don’t know, it just helps me relax and focus when I study. Now that I think about it, I usually listen to it while I clean, read, or even do the dishes. My favorite musician is 유진 박— he’s Korean but was born in the US and graduated from 버클리. I’m a huge fan of his! He can play pretty much every classical instrument: violin, piano, cello, you name it. For me, among those instruments, his violin performances are the best. When I first saw him play on a TV show, It felt like it was out of this world. It just melted my heart, so I listen to his music a lot!
18		[습관] When and where do you listen to music? Do you listen to the radio? or do you go to concert?	[한국어] 나는 주로 도서관에서 공부할 때 클래식 음악을 제일 많이 들어. 공부할 때 음악을 아예 안듣는 사람들이 있고, 또 락 음악을 크게 틀어 놓는 사람들도 있는데. 나는 클래식 음악이 집중하는 데 도움이 진짜 많이 되.  앞에서 말한 것처럼, 공부할 때는 거의 항상 들어 아 그리고 집에서도 자주 클래식 음악을 들어.  책 읽을 때, 청소할 때, 설거지할 때,  심지어 큰일 볼 때도? 더 잘나와  무슨 뜻인지 알지?  라디오는 가끔 듣는데 , 콘써트는 안가. 거의 유투브 뮤직으로만 들어.  너도 공부할 때 한번 들어봐 꼭      [Eng] I usually listen to classical music the most when I study at the library or at cafes. Some people say that they can't focus with music at all when they study,  and then there are others who blast rock music. But for me, classical music really helps me focus. Like I said earlier, I pretty much always listen to it whenever I study. Oh, and I listen to it at home a lot too. When I’m reading, cleaning, doing the dishes, and, believe it or not, even when I’m in the bathroom? It, uh, helps things move along, if you know what I mean. I sometimes listen to the radio, but I never go to concerts. I mostly just use YouTube Music. You should totally give it a try next time you study!
19		[경험 - 계기 / 비교] When did you first become interested in listening to music ?  what kind of music did you listen to when you were a child ?  how has your interest in music change over time ?	[한국어] 고등학교 전까지는 음악을 거의 안 들었었던 것 같아요.  그냥 관심이 별로 없었어요.  근데 고등학교 올라가면서 유직박이라고 하는 제가 가장 좋아하는 바이올리니스트의 클래식 연주를 듣고 나서부터 완전 푹 빠졌어요.  심지어 그의 음악을 들으면서 공부할 때 진짜 집중이 잘돼요. 그래서 실제로 성적이 올랐어요.  지금 제 유투브 뮤직 리스트를 보시면 전부다 클래식 뮤직인걸 알수 있어요. 대부분 유진박껄로요.  [Eng] I barely listened to music at all until high school. I just wasn’t that interested. But the first time I really got into it was when I started listening to Eugene Park’s classical performances in high school. He’s my favorite musician, and after that, I got totally hooked on classical music. It even helped me focus better while studying, and my grades went up. I still always listen to classical music when I study. If you check my YouTube Music playlist, it's almost all classical. You should try listening to classical music when you study—it might help you concentrate better too! :)
20		[경험] 라이브 음악을 들었던 경험 Tell me about an experience that you've listened to live music. What kind of live music do you like? Where did you go and whom did you go with? Give me as many details of that experience as possible.	[한국어] 하 한번은 싸이가 제가 다니는 회사에 왔었어요.  그래서 진짜 바로 앞에서 봤어요.  너무 신기하고 재밌었어요. 뭔가 꿈같앗어요. 그대가 2018년도인가 강남스타일로 유명해지고 1~2녀인 후인데, 제가 아시아나항공에 다녔을 때 싸이가 홍보대사였어요. 그래서 1년에 1번 회사 공연을 하는게 계약에 있었데요.  그래서 회사에 왔는데 그때 관객이 100명도 안됬었던 것 같아요.  그래서 진짜 가까이서 봤어요. 관객이 별로 없엇는데도 싸이가 진짜 열심히 노래하고 춤추더라고요. 그때부터 싸이를 엄청 좋아하게됬어요.  Oh, there was this one time Psy came to the company I work at. I got to see him up close, like right in front of me! It was so cool and fun. Honestly, it felt kind of like a dream. I think it was around 2018, maybe a year or two after Psy became famous for 'Gangnam Style.' Back when I worked at Asiana Airlines, Psy was our brand ambassador, and part of his contract was to perform for the company once a year. So, he came to our company for a performance, but there were less than 50 people in the audience. I got to see him really up close! Even though there weren’t many people, Psy performed with so much energy, singing and dancing like it was a huge concert. After that, I became a huge fan of his.
